On my way out of City Hall, I saw a young lady who had been crying in the council chambers during testimony, so I stopped to ask if she was OK. She expressed that hearing politicians talk and debate policy, but not specifically about how to keep people housed was more frustrating than she expected.

I learned today that inclusionary housing was made illegal in the State of Oregon from 1999 to 2015. So 35 years after racial segregation was outlawed, Oregon made class segregation mandatory. Explains A LOT.
