HR 1526 passed the House. It strips judges of authority and hands unlimited power to the President. This is the American equivalent of the "Enabling Act" from Nazi Germany. All it has to do now is sleepwalk through the Senate.

It’s surreal how fast the United States has fallen into a dictatorial regime. Checks and balances are gone, the president disappears innocent people into foreign prison camps, words get banned, and the Overton window shifts at light speed. I honestly wonder these days when they will come for me.

CMS just backdoor-banned trans healthcare for basically everyone, once places realize their funding will get cut. This will hit any provider that *accepts* Medicaid, coercing them to end care even for trans people who aren't on Medicaid and are using other health insurance.

My mother was a child in WW II Greece. She watched as her Jewish schoolmates were carted away from her classroom and sent to Auschwitz where 90% of them were murdered. She also went hungry at times during Nazi occupation. The best Nazis are dead Nazis.
