I’m liking it so far! The quality sounds really good, I haven’t come across any issues yet, i’m still getting used to the layout, it is a LOT simpler than Spotify’s. There are also some albums missing from artists, not many but I had a couple, I’m assuming because of exclusivity contracts.

i was about to say I have not been comfortable going to bed since I was like ten but that’s a lie because I spent so many nights as a small child unable to sleep because of “growing pains”

Of course! There is no real way to know these things unless someone tells you, it’s not something most people would probably think to look up.

I understand that sometimes it is just a comfort thing, you were given that label and we as Autistics have a hard time with change. But unfortunately you HAVE to weigh your comfort and aversion to change against the actual harm the term causes and could very well cause in the future.

Now, I want you to think about why literal Nazi Elon Musk would insist on using Asperger’s to describe himself instead of Autism. If you use that term to describe yourself you need to evaluate why you feel such a need to distance yourself from other Autistic people, and recognize it’s harm.

Asperger’s was originally created as a diagnosis by the Nazi Hans Asperger, specifically for the purpose of separating the Autistic people who he deemed still useful to society, and the ones they would kill for being “genetically inferior.”

This isn’t to call anyone out, it’s definitely important to verbally state that you are safe. I’m not saying you shouldn’t do that. Just that you NEED to back that up with action. If we just sit here enraged about the state of the world nothing will ever change.

Share links and info, organize, if you’re a streamer or otherwise have a following raise money for charities, find any way you can to act. As a disabled person I completely understand that there are limits to what everyone can do but you NEED to do more than just a simple statement of support
