I am looking to meet women interested in having no-BS conversations around personal finance, tech and sustainability! #womenInTech #bayarea #sanfranciso

Today is the last day to register for CIDR 2025 in Amsterdam! The best conference in systems with an awesome lineup this year! cidrdb.org/cidr2025/pro...

Great opportunity to join the Kubernetes release team and learn what it takes to ship Kubernetes!

Always amazes me that you can just reach out to people you admire and look up to and they respond back with the same enthusiasm and encouragement, super willing to help out. Gotta love the systems community 🥰

Fun NULL BITMAP today talking associativity. A topic I spend a lot of time thinking about. buttondown.com/jaffray/arch...

Excellent post-mortem by the #OpenAI team on the recent outage! We’ve had some work gone in recently to prevent control plane overwhelm in Kubernetes, super curious about what versions of K8s they’re on and if these features could have helped 👀 status.openai.com/incidents/ct...

#Kubernetes v1.32 is released! Thank you 1.32 release team led by Frederico Muñoz and thank you release managers and thank you contributors — so much hard work goes into each release kubernetes.io/blog/2024/12...

The energy here at #KubeConIndia is unlike anything I've ever seen at a KubeCon. People are excited and thirsty to learn. So glad I got to experience the first KubeCon in India!

The PaPoC workshop is once again accepting submissions on distributed consistency. Deadline 15 January papoc-workshop.github.io/2025/cfp.html

We have a strong background in formal methods and system reliability. So we’ve been surgically applying these techniques to scale our correctness efforts at Feldera. We’ve found them quite effective at catching bugs early during development, long before they can manifest in production.

@madhavjivrajani.bsky.social I really liked this presentation of yours www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdO_... The most enjoyable part was how smoothly you combined philosophy, physics, psychology and computer sciences.

Thank you so much! That’s definitely one of my favourite talks, super glad you enjoyed it! 💕

Kinda bummed I’m going to miss the first #KubeCon happening in India but also super excited to see all the wonderful things that come out of it ♥️ Make someone feel included if you’re a veteran and as a friendly reminder, remember the Pac-Man rule: www.ericholscher.com/blog/2017/au...

Today @kubernetes.io discovered slack has a 200,000 user limit on channels by way of the #kubernetes-users in slack.k8s.io 🙃

We have a thriving systems community in Bangalore which hosts deeply technical and insightful talks, and in that vein, there’s an excellent talk by @alexgarcia.xyz on sqlite-vec going on right now! discord.gg/kdq68txQeQ

This was a very interesting piece of work over a couple of years that we drove in the community and it makes me so happy to see the impact it’s had ♥️🎉

I'm so excited to share my latest paper called DELIFT along with Krishnateja Killamsetty, Lucian Popa, and Marina Danilevksy at IBM Research 🎉 We tackle expensive fine-tuning by selecting a small subset of informative data that targets a model's weaknesses.

We say goodbye to KubeCon Co-Chair @thenikhita.bsky.social. Thank you for all your work!

Best part of #KubeCon, thank you and congratulations to all the maintainers! ♥️🎉

So fitting that @thock.in gets the first CNCF Lifetime achievement award at #KubeCon 🎉♥️ Thank you for everything you do, especially behind the scenes and beyond the technical aspects of the project 🙏

I loved reading this paper - the key insight (ordering matters at read time, not write time) feels so obvious in hindsight, but I’d have never thought of it in a million years; really clever stuff

Super excited to catch up with old friends and make new ones next week at #KubeCon ♥️🥳 Who’s going to be there? Let’s chat about all things Kubernetes, infra for AI and other emerging workloads and here’s a new one for me… Cloud Native Vector Databases!

It’s not everyday that your advisors and lab-mates win a Best Paper Award at #SOSP! I love that I get to work with them and more such brilliant folks on a daily basis ♥️ Check out the paper here: LazyLog: A New Shared Log Abstraction for Low-Latency Applications dassl-uiuc.github.io/pdfs/papers/...

My SIGMOD Programming Contest Archive now has everything up through 2024 archived safely, as the official link for 2024 had gone offline already. If you're looking for an intermediate database project to get started on, take a look! transactional.blog/s...

Hi! 👋
