#FCF folks, please do your part and label your god damned dick pics. It's two clicks, some of us scroll at work and we have nudity filtered for a reason.

Added a map, didn't get the course plotting put in though.

All my conversion rates and labels are fuct in the front-end, but the back end can take a fit file, parse it into a record with some key metrics indexed, and then serve them back. Slowly crawling towards an at proto Strava replacement. Figure a map, then move on to route sharing.

Okay, got the Lexicon for my atproto activity tracker events record sorted out so I can make event records, and my ingester is detecting. Just need to make a db for the ingester, and set up some queries so you can search for stuff, and I think I'll start working on Route sharing.

Alright, I got my #ATProto activity tracker parsing(although the distance and time look very incorrect.. might want to look at that) and uploading .fit files to pds. Just need fix those distance and time metrics, polish up the Lexicon, host it some where, and work on publishing some records.

Did my first FTP test for winter training, and I always find myself marveling at how much I both love and hate the experience.

I uploaded a .FIT file to my repo, and created/retrieved a record of my prototype Lexicon's type. So I just need to make the rest of the app to meaningfully interact with them, and I got an atproto activity tracker. Privacy is still a concern though, not trying to make a self-doxing machine here.

I kinda dig TPVirtual. The ND winter makes training rides outside a very uncomfortable experience, and Zwift kinda low-key triggers the same suspicion that mobile games do. Like they wanna convince you to lock in.

Hashing out an #atproto activity tracker, since I'm perpetually mad at Strava, but I'm stumped trying to implement meaningful privacy. A "private" tag in the lexicon requires app views/feed generators respect it and FIT/TCX files as blobs means people can harvest them freely.

And here I was worried about ruining my brake pads...

This gave me flashback rage. Few weeks ago some friends and I were enjoying MN trails, and we encountered some fucking idiot in a pickup using the trail as his own personal shortcut to the local bar. Car brain is real.

Since my usual commuter bike is stripped for repairs, I've been riding my fixed gear, and there is always one pulse raising moment when I go to adjust my bag, and forget to keep pedalling. Start the day on full alert.

My cue to take my ADHD meds on days off is when I go into my work spaces, start 3 different tasks, fuck 5 things up, and then I start designing an API that locks my IDE/Workbench, until some to-be designed sensor detects the appropriate metabolites. It's a very complex cue.

I was bleeding the brakes on my adventure bike and like a dipshit, I stripped the threads. So in true adventuring dip shit spirit, I disassembled my lever, I bored out the bleed port, tapped an aluminum tube, cut it down, and pressed it into place. What could possibly go wrong?

Put Parmesan outside of your grilled cheese when you cook it. It gets a nice texture. Goes great with my wife's tomato soup. I don't know the recipe, but just blanche a bunch of tomatoes and see where life takes you. Cats are definitely reading the cozy vibes right.

Such a perfect picture of our Poppy and Riker. #cats #catsky

Minnesota is fucking rad.

We've been training Riker to be a good walking buddy. He's getting the hang of it, but a well trained cat is still a cat. #cats
