A brief but successful visit to the Wakefield Rhubarb Festival! Featuring forced rhubarb (obvs), a huge rhubarb topped pork pie, rhubarb panna cotta, rhubarb cheese, rhubarb preserves and Grasmere gingerbread (not rhubarbed).

Reading Dave Grohl's book and he says that Smells Like Teen Spirit came out two weeks before Nevermind. But that the video came out a few days after the album was released. Was this normal practice back then? I've only ever known music videos to be used to trail an upcoming release.

Dialled into an interesting talk on the charity sector and the NHS and I'm laughing at the confusion by non-UK researchers about the whole thing. "They are always having coffee mornings!"
