IMO one of the biggest hurdles for games as an artistic medium is their over-reliance on combat as a core mechanic. Saying this as a guy who enjoys a good combat system, but it's emotionally numbing and severely limits a game's narrative scope.

Sorry, no drawing today. To say the least: friends're too busy/undergoing their own probs, I'm the "background friend", medical probs, and struggling to get jobs that won't worsen issues, was too tired to draw whenever I got home from my last stint at a "normal" job affected me a lot.
