Khal dyes his hair red. Since the First/Fray/Myste debacle, he has plenty of whites. So he glams it red once a month to hide the whites. He does enjoy styling his hair, but again, depends on his mental state. As for styling others hair, if they asked him to braid it for them he would.

Khal's mother is named Noto. Since Khal found her and his father, he goes visit them, but claims to be an adventurer who traveled with her daughter. She believes Khallil loved her daughter and holds her name in her memory. He likes to give hr flowers and tell her stories about Khali.

Nothing useful to add to this, just something it made me think about in terms of relativity of symbolism - Haurchefant's shield (Ishgard and House Fortemps) failed to protect him but it also failed to protect YOU. He did that himself. The shield failed you both but he was still there for you.

Things very few people know about Khal: 1) Was born female, transitioned through Fantasia. Feels like a coward for not having the bravery to be the man he is as a woman (especially with all the brave women around him).

Khal, cannonically, does not use stairs if he doesn't have to. He jumps down the ledge and is done with it. He'd go up with no issue and just chose to jump down from the top. Ain't nobody got time for stairs.

Khal is very comfortable with showing skin, even his scars. He absolutely adores showing off his ass, legs and abs. Of course he has a sense of decency, dignity and honor and would not go out naked, but a lil cleavage, a lil shoulder, some leg or ab here and there. He hides his chest scar though.

Nope. Khal fears drowning and never learned to swim. He only manages thanks to the Kojin blessing. When Lyse and Alisae challenged him to a swimming race, he forfeited and followed on a row boat. When the Faun tried to drown him, he literally forgot he had the blessing and panicked for a second.

Volante and Fant of the Silver Tallon. Volante was Khal's original chocobo, he came with the name, he lost the chocobo in Uldah. Silver was a gift from Haurchie, and Khal named him Fant of the Silver Tallon to both honor and poke fun at Haurchefant.
