for a short while, i probably will focus only on learning C++, and slow down my web side projects or postpone them.

can some one recommend me C++ devs that I should follow here. I know and follow some great people on Web ecosystem but don't know any C++ devs, other than the @yagiznizipli.com

I am happy to be on the linux again, though it is a vm hosted on mac... I am not sure but macos hosting a linux vm might not be the best option. surprisingly, my mem consumption on MBP's activity monitor is much more than what htop shows, in linux vm. Maybe due to some setup error i made?

The joy and challenge of learning a new language... this is huge. And, consider that, you are a career changer, a web dev (front end focused) and learning C++. 😀😅

Life can surprise you. I recently installed Ubuntu VM on my Mac and now learning c++. I am a web dev :))

I wrote an article on @dev.to for their 2025 writing challenge. Would be happy if you check it out. I quite enjoyed it writing, I hope you like it too. dev.to/alptekin/dre...

the way you learn about a new tech, library or framework changes a lot when you start reading the code / type definitions etc. and not be constrained to the text docs

nice talk on performance, rendering etc.. Watched before. watching again. @shaundai.com www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_0f...

Peer coding is many things. Hard, enjoyable, instructive (learn a lot), tiring.

I was quite excited about this. Have not read it yet, waiting for a time without interruption. #react.router #remix.run remix.run/blog/react-r...

I wish we could have notifications on selected users’ posts as we did on X. Is this very hard to do? @bsky.app

Why is #remix.run not on Bluesky?

I get a weird sensation of joy watching the chars print on the terminal like a progress bar during a homebrew installation.

very interesting talk from @developit.dev on @vite.dev at @viteconf.org www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcT2... impressive.

javascript ecosystem is insane. powerful, extensive, vibrant and living... the "living" part is, there is always something new to learn or to get deep into. Maybe we should not limit it with JS and possibly this is valid for the whole software development..

Today watched a talk from #viteconf2024 from @cpojer.bsky.social on game dev and @vite.dev. It Was very impressive. Check it out if you wish.
