Does Meta even know that I don't like the cults of Manalo and Quiboloy? Yet posts favoring them keep on appearing on my wall. Dumb algorithm, and they also have a shitty search engine.

MAGA evangelicals argue that they voted for Trump because he is Christian. Maybe more Christian than Harris. The late Jimmy Carter was also a devout Christian, but nowhere as extremist and insane as Trump.

This is how dictatorship started. From intimidation of the media and allowing hate speech. It happened/happening in Nazi Germany, post-Communist Russia, Hong Kong, and elsewhere. It is happening in the US, and it maybe speedier than what we are perceiving.

Take note that Bluesky was made from being an inter-social media API protocol into a full fledged social media in itself, in the wake of MAGA-ization of Twitter, and perhaps with recent policing changes on Facebook.
