Gregg is a former Marine and Forest Service ranger. He's saved the lives of hikers dangling off a cliff or going through cardiac arrest, and he's bravely fought forest fires to save small rural towns. 100% of his salary is paid by WA state. Elon fired him. Share his story.

Elon Musk is a terrible president.

As far as I can see, the team at @wired.com is doing best journalism in the USA right now.

Tool.

The DEI caused the plane crash narrative is a distraction. The tariffs are a distraction. Whatever insane nonsense Trump spews that the media will chase like cats chasing a laser light is a distraction. The only story that counts right now is the wholesale hijacking of control of the US government.

This should be happening in the US right now.

They've got the media figured out....

I love the architecture of the Downtown Vancouver Library.

Saw this when I watched the latest episode of 8 Out of Ten Cats Does Countdown. Traumatized, but surely not as much as Rachel Riley or Susie Dent. Jimmy Carr seems to be the only one enjoying himself. Left to Right: Susie Dent, Rachel Riley, Jimmy Carr, John Richardson.

This is incredible. Sure to delight astronomers, professional and amateur, alike.

Someone thought ahead

I wonder if anyone did leave their keys in their cars for Steve Guttenberg to move.

Even the Klingons understand this.

My one birthday wish did not come to pass.

Saddened to hear this news.

Just another reason to ditch the Meta influence

I'll believe it when I see it. Oh, and what a potentially wonderful birthday present! Could be a great start to my own #project2025

On this day in music history 1984, my favorite concert of all time: Prince and the Revolution / Morris Day and the Time / Sheila E. In the Twin Cities.

3/3 "Well, there it is, it's a great country but we're all still trapped in our own minds." — Alan Berg's character from The Order

2/3 "The one thing you all have in common is, and you're too ignorant to see it, is that you're too inept to get by in the world, so your only recourse is to try and curtail the enjoyment of others." — Alan Berg's character from The Order

1/3 "You know what my problem is with every fanatic fundamentalist, from the Catholics, to the Orthodox, to the KKK?" — Alan Berg's character from The Order

Listening to O‐o‐h Child by The Five Stairsteps on @kexp.bsky.social makes me think the song is being sung to me, spurring me on to pursue my own Project 2025. And not in the foul nasty way that the MAGAt version is trying to pursue, but rather in an uplifting, positive way.

Anytime I hear someone say 'See you next time', I wonder what was said to cause offense.

I continue to be immensely impressed by @obsidian.md. Other PKM systems I've tried have always failed due to their rigidity of use. I haven't been this excited about #pkm since the mid 1990's when I had an all too brief love affair with EccoPro. #obsidian #ObsidianMD

I wish I'd seen the question framed this way when I was young. Or maybe I did and it's only with maturity that I really have come to appreciate it.

This is Toothless. If you yell his name from across the park, it sounds like doofus, which he is. Big. Lovable. Doofus. #dogsofbluesky #dogs
