Bonus:
Left Behind is all about those cute little interactions. The constant shifts between the past and the present work wonders in underlining how this world crashes anyone’s innocence while conveying a powerful message: Hope is what makes us human.
And that last present level was TOUGH.

2. The Last of Us Remastered & Left Behind (PS4)
I finally get why this is deemed a masterpiece. The story is riveting, especially Ellie’s little interactions with a world she never knew. Levels are also brimming with detail, and I felt true fear and vulnerability in some bits.
And THAT ending.

1. Neva (Switch)
Probably the most gorgeous game I've ever played. The combat reinforces this awe-inspiring world's cruelty, making for countless moving moments. Man, I couldn't stop pressing the "call Neva" button.
Superb work here @nomada.studio.

He keeps Bulking Up, but this is Gen 3 and my Razor Leaf is special. Nothing to fear, right?
He recovers with a berry and Bulks Up again. I'm at full health so I keep Grovyle in. One last Razor Leaf leaves Makuhita with 1 PS. Then he uses Reversal.
WHAT.
Ended up winning, but at what cost.

That’s absolutely food for thought. Nothing is granted in this industry, and I’m always thrilled to see how Nintendo reinvents itself.

I mean, look at 3DS. More powerful hardware with a joystick and better internet connection plus a gem-packed catalogue turned out in such a delightful system. Of course, it can end up as bad as in Wii U’s case, but the Switch player base just feels different to Wii’s.
Let’s see what happens ✌️

While I get your point, a backwards-compatible system with enough improvements sounds like the perfect move. The Switch has created and dominated a niche for years, and there's no reason for Nintendo to leave it just yet.
I’m sure they’ll keep innovating in one way or another.

Got my missing cards for this deck last weekend and it skyrocketed me to 45 wins, including a +10 consecutive win-streak. If Gardevoir comes into play early enough, it's almost always gg.
Enjoy it!

Blame Nat. I was a Weezing-Arbok believer until she pulled all the Mewtwo EX, Kirlia and Gardevoir I was missing.
Then I tried it for a few matches and… 😈
