P.S. We are up to 93 individual donors. I would LOVE to see 7 new donors come in so we can hit an even 100. Even just $5 makes a difference.

FYI: $258 more in donations, and we’ve helped 65 kids total.

As always, if you cannot donate, sharing this call to donate is just as helpful (maybe even more so in this last week as we try to reach new eyeballs). Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

My Dad and brother are going, and Carhartt coveralls are their outfit of choice. Unfortunately they don’t have crimson ones. 🤣

HA! I made it in. 🤣

Btw you have to be a new or renewing subscriber to get the deal. I cancelled my Peacock subscription after Petit Le Mans this year and just renewed today and it worked like a charm!

Verizon added yellow to their brand colors this year (which I learned because I had the same confusion). www.marketingdive.com/news/verizon...

It’s not my favorite. The black and red was iconic. And made for some damn nice liveries.

For sure throught this was a Shell/Verizon collab at first

I feel like the black was iconic. 😭

I had no idea.

A friend of a friend found three out in the wild. And donated one of the extras to PRUEkids. I have not found any in the wild myself (but I’ve been looking).

This giveaway is closed and the winner has been contacted. Thank you! Your donations raised $380 just in one day!

Mmm, the bleach really add a beautiful layer of flavor! 🤣 I’m really worried about once AI starts feeding people home canning and fermentation content. Anyone up for a botulism outbreak?

Anywho. Support independent publishers. If you wouldn’t ask a plumber to do work on your house for free, don’t ask a professional content creator to give you content for free. Turn off ad blockers. Buy books. Share on social. There are 100 ways to pay creators for the work we do. amzn.to/4eCzl6x

Also: this is my yearly reminder that every pet peeve you have with recipe bloggers can be blamed on Google. Too much text before the recipe? Too many ads? Stupid clickbait headlines? All. Google.
comment in response to post
And then what you’ll be left with is every free recipe on the internet will be AI generated crap that fails miserably when you actually go to cook it because AI can’t taste test things. And it sure as hell isn’t testing each recipe 10+ times in their own kitchen before it publishes like I am.

A reminder: $125 covers a child’s entire holiday wish list (and gets you 12 entires to the giveaway). Will ship anywhere in the world. Winner will be chosen by a random draw tomorrow morning. Huge thank you to Brent Furbee for donating Rexy! Good luck, and let’s help out some kids!

THIS. So this. That's why I've been using passive language like "if he wants to" or "consider" when I talk about it. Because does anyone even know what he wants to do? I mean, we can assume he'd have fun racing with his friend Kyle, but beyond that? It's all just WILD speculation.

Wow, that's a name I had to Google! (Which makes your entire point, I know 😂)

Yeah, I was thinking the expectations game would be the opposite (since he had a tough F1 season, folks would expect him to fumble in his next venture, too), but some other folks have mentioned it could fall the way you're saying here. I'm glad I'm not the one making the decisions. 😬

As always, if you aren't able to donate, sharing is just as helpful (maybe even more). The more eyeballs that see what we are trying to do, the better!

Ahhh, I haven't been on Twitter yet to see what folks are saying. Yeah, that's really weird behavior. So what if it's just publicity? Like, that's the thing we've been all screaming about needing more of for the last decade, so yay! Look at the bigger picture, folks.

Are people mad about him testing? That’s weird. Anyone who shows interest in IndyCar is welcome in my books, even if it doesn’t pan out or doesn’t end up being what they want to do. Interest is good.

Oh I hadn’t thought about the scholarship. That would be sad.

Ahh, see I assumed the expectation would be that he would struggle because of how much he did struggle. And then if he dominates it would act as proof that he really isn’t someone to ignore. But I see what you’re saying how the expectations could be opposite. It would definitely be a big risk.
