The thinking that guides your intelligence is a lot more important than the amount of your intelligence. Read it again.

This is what happens when emotional reactions, especially under pressure, cloud a leader’s judgment, leading to impulsive or poorly considered choices that may be regretted later.

I spent a lot more time than usual on LinkedIn this week. And there’s just so much to be desired with that app.

Emotional intelligence has moved from a soft skill to a strategic asset. An asset that directly impacts your bottom line.

Found a $100 bill in a purse that I was looking for lipstick in. Still haven’t found the 💄. I was surprised but not surprised. Surprised that’s where I found it, not surprised because I called it in while declaring my day.

If authenticity is being true to oneself and one’s values, and being self-aware of those beliefs and values, is a leader still an authentic leader if their values are destructive?

When you hear the term ‘Authentic Leadership,’ what comes to mind?

Strategy gets all the glory, but emotions drive change.

No matter how amicable a conversation may be, the moment someone says they disagree, tension is introduced. Because obviously people don’t like to be disagreed with, even if it’s just about sports. So, how else can you say I disagree without using those words?

Ego says, I already know everything there is to know about…, and immediately, the inquisitive part of us, the parts that make us curious to know more, shuts down.

We are so steeped in our thinking of lack and can’t do-isms, that it’s difficult to get people to say what they want to see happen in their lives, which consequently, is what will change the direction of their lives.
