Fun how these things develop. From an older episode. It was originally boarded as just a photo of Patrick and SpongeBob next to each other. One of the plussing artists pitched the idea of them giving each other rabbit ears. I liked that and suggested Pat just use his simple fingerless hand stump.

An old character layout bit from the second movie. SB infiltrates the mob by trying to dress like them and acts "tough." He kicks over the trash can and immediately regrets it. After these scenes were cut, the recycling gag was repurposed for later in the film. #SpongeBob
