A Complete Unknown - this is such an odd movie. It is weirdly edited, I feel like I only understood half of what Timothée Chalamet was saying and learned even less about the real Bob Dylan. Maybe it would've been better if he was played by a cgi monkey. 2.5🎸/5

The Gorge - I do appreciate that we are getting more genre romance movies recently even if the romance side of this film didn't really work for me. I feel like this films concept would make a better co-op survival horror video game then it does as a movie. 2.5 (see gif)/5

The Brutalist - to be brutally honest for a film that is 3h and 35m, with intermission, it really flew by. They being said the intermission did take me out of the story a bit. The soundtrack and cinematography were exquisite. It was definitely worth seeing in IMAX. 4🏗️/5

Flow - this films visuals and soundtrack are beautiful. This movie does a good job portraying the story and characters in spite of there not being any spoken dialogue other then meows, barks, etc. It kind of feels like a mix between The Wild Robot and Stray (game). 4⛵/5

Hundreds of Beavers - I did not expect to love this one as much as I did. The slapstick and absurd comedy makes this the funniest movie of 2024. It combines animated, live action, stop motion and all of the animals are people in mascot costumes. 4.5 🦫/5

Sonic the Hedgehog 3: These movies are similar to the Monsterverse movies to me. The cg creature stuff is solid but it they are bogged down with boring human characters. While those characters are still in it they are a lot less prominent letting team sonic shine. 3.5💎/5

Kraven the Hunter - Venomverse has mostly been bad and this last entry doesn't change that trend. At least those gave us memes. I was hoping since this was rated R that the action would at least be decent but it was all just kind of boring. The script and character motivations made no sense. 1.5🦁/5

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim - I'm happy we got something different but if the story was interesting enough to be told at least not as a movie. I expected more from Hera especially since the movie keeps telling us how great she is. The king was pretty badass though. 3🐴/5

Moana 2 - it is a shame that this film was such a let down especially after how good the first one was. The plot and the songs all felt like worse versions of the first film. You can definitely tell that this was originally supposed to be a D+ show but was cobbled together into a movie. 2.5 🌊/5

Hot Frosty - 🎶Do You Want to Fuck a Snowman?🎶 I was hoping for some body horror of a human snowman melting but all I got was a hallmark/Lifetime movie with a sweaty guy. It was kind of fun seeing Craig Robinson and Joe Lo Truglio as cops though. 1🧣/5
