My flower seed order from @higgledygarden.bsky.social arrived this morning and I only ordered it yesterday. I was so pleased. A lovely message and a free packet of seeds too. Thank you Benjamin 😊🌻🌱

I've been sorting my seed packets out today. As usual whenever I do this I get help from my little friend Holly. Although I'm not sure that help is the right word.

Holly cat has been to the vet for her health check. She was very good. The vet cut out some of her matted fur so she has a bald patch now.😿

The Christmas tree has been cut up and is in bin bags now. It will be put through the garden shredder and the shreddings used to mulch the blueberries at the allotment. The trunk can be used as a plant support.

Plenty of snow this morning

A Happy peaceful Christmas to you all.🎄

Our church was in candlelight for the carol service last night. My daughter and I enjoyed singing the carols, it was a lovely start to Christmas

It's our church carol service this evening. Before that I will be putting marzipan on the Christmas cake and making mince pies. 🍰🎄

Morning! It's so dark outside. Having my early morning cup of tea and watching Holly the cat play with her toy mouse.

Today was a baking day. I've made ginger cake and shortbread. That's the third lot of shortbread I've made in the last few weeks. Two lots for other people, this is for us. 😋

Morning everyone. Just had first cup of tea of the day. It's dark outside. Had a restless night.

Morning, everyone. It's raining here. It's Christmas jumper day at church this morning so should be quite colourful.

Just made courgette soup. Later I'll be decorating the Christmas tree. It's been in it's corner for two days now with just lights on.

Made my wreaths last week, now the storm has gone I've put them out, front and side of house.

Our day at #LythamHall was wonderful. 'A Dickens of a Christmas '. The rooms all represented different Dickens books. I don't think I've ever seen so many Christmas trees in one place.

Good morning! Hoping for a dry day. I'm going out with my daughter today to Lytham Hall #Lancashire to see it all done up for Christmas.
