📖 ♀️ Our team were delighted to visit the 'Medieval Women' exhibition at The British Library! An incredibly curated exhibition, our team thoroughly enjoyed the section dedicated to Health and the body. From sexual and reproductive health, to women's roles as medical practitioners.

#FairDo’s ‘Medieval Women: In Their Own Words’ @britishlibrary.bsky.social Exhibition open until 2nd March.

So much fun with this talented group of story tellers. I was blown away by their creativity and enthusiasm. Can’t wait to read their stories! And what better place for inspiration than the @oldoptheatre.bsky.social #middlegrade #writers #hooray!

A brilliant thread👇👇👇 #GreenEconomy

Really excited to be returning to the @oldoptheatre.bsky.social to give a talk on the female pioneers of neuroscience in the lead up to International Woman's day. Come and join for a fascinating history. oldoperatingtheatre.com/event-posts/... #womeninstem #scicomms

Anyone know of any collapse, regeneration, solar punk, permaculture, unschooling, or homeschooling stater packs

Word of the Day is ‘quockerwodger’ (19th century): a puppet individual whose strings are pulled entirely by someone else.

Still needs a few additions, but I’m so happy that my website is live!! Only took me six months 😂😂😂 Hope you like it (*insert nervous twitch) xx www.marchlands.co.uk

1/2 On opposite sides of the world and unbeknown to one another, the Tasmanian Aboriginal artist and the British artist and historian Dr Jane Wildgoose began focusing their research on two tiny objects that originated in Tasmania in the nineteenth century, which are now in a collection in the UK.

Word of the Day is ‘bayard’ (16th century): one who has the supreme self-confidence of ignorance.

I’m thrilled to be leading this workshop at the fabulous #OldOpMuseum in London, where we’ll be using actual museum objects to drive our stories! Mon 23rd Feb, two sessions - 10 and 11.30am. Hope to see you there!

“Today, nature is declining before our eyes and climate change is threatening homes and habitats on a colossal scale. We will ramp up our work to restore nature, both on our own land and beyond our boundaries,” 🌱🪲🐝🐛🪺

Hundreds of Mexican firefighters have arrived in Southern California to help combat the wildfires. Thank you, Mexico🇺🇸🇲🇽

What is happening in LA is devastating and seeing the images of wildlife desperately searching for safety is beyond heartbreaking. A baby deer stumbling through the smoke alone has broken me. She has nowhere to evacuate to. Climate change is real and here. Stop over consuming. Write to MPs. Act NOW.

Creatures, places and words disappear, day after day, year on year. So, let these spells ring far and wide; speak their words and seek their art, let the wild world into your eyes, your voice, your heart. “Back away from the bling!” A slightly protective ring bearer today, who I definitely wasn’t messing with 😉 #blueskycats

Wishing festive fun to all celebrating today, and for anyone who may be struggling, here’s to 2025! Xx

When you live in a wee flat, get a wee Christmas tree made of sculpted paper! Clever stuff by my talented friend, Peter Ayers. Then last night I was given a tiny handmade felt book (will add soon). The card in the pic is also handmade. Think my calls for a #sustainablechristmas are getting through 😉

Some great info in the comments too!!
