As America is being torn apart, weakened, and sold to the highest bidder, I think about all the folks who told me, "Well, it won't be THAT bad" and "We survived 4 years of Trump..." and "The systems will hold." All of them are privileged and well-off. Alas. We're all in it now.

The thing that people have to realize about the reactionaries, who are our enemies, is they have factions. There's factions that dislike Putin and factions that love him. It's not dissimilar to factions within liberalism. But they are reactionary anti-liberals all the same.
