Thanks everyone who came to watch Tomb at Riverside Studios. Sat indoors on a sunny day watching #DoctorWho - the true sign of a Who fan.

Another attempt by Microsoft to force Edge upon me foiled.

I hate it when I visit an antiques and curios shop and they have a thing from my childhood that sparks a memory of innocence unsullied by the darkness of the adult world and the twinkle-eyed shopkeeper tells me the price is to take a pie from Mrs Craddock's window ledge and feed it to Mrs Bell's dog

A couple of years back, a creaky old fifties BBC Radio Cold War-themed sci-fi serial blasted out of nowhere and straight into my heart. This is the story of Orbiter X, and how it came back after half a century lost in space... timworthington.org/2020/05/08/o...

Clip from “Whistle and I’ll Wave at You” (1968)

Finished 'Ambassadors' last night, half one in the morning no less. Restoration is the star, it's still madly mixed quality but better than I expected. The ending is still too abrupt with the Doctor simply buggering off

It's been such a week that I'm going to watch the 'Scouts eating packed lunches on a roller coaster' to cheer me up. And laugh at that one kid

#totp

this is blue-sky we only talk about Ghostwatch, Threads and Penda's Fen here

Doctor Who Discovers Voyeurism

Halfway thru 'Silurians' and struck by the thought that Pertwee nailed the part incredibly quickly. His scenes with Quinn are a masterclass of gentle understatement

Watched 'Spearhead from Space' last night to take my mind of the father medical woes. Looks amazing. And the improved audio is banging

My week off plan: S7 boxset Lady fate: We don't f**kin' think so (Father rushed into hospital) Bugger

Astonishing performance. Thoroughly a must watch

Got one of the dogs involved in keeping an eye out for the postie with S7 #labradoodle

Double yes when reading comics

When I first watched the footage from yesterday I had to turn it off after JD Vance said this, because of how much it triggered memories of abuse for me.

Watched 'Godzilla Minus One' last night and it blew me away. So good I'm going to watch it again tonight. Haven't done that since 'Into the Spiderverse'

#ComiconAberdeen tickets bought. Roll on the weekend

Watched another of 90's anthology supernatural series Chiller last night. Highlights included 300 cats, Martin Clunes and the hariest arse in television history (not Clunes obviously)

Oh The Monkey was fucking CINEMA

Just misread that as sex actually with ian Levine and nearly threw up on a spider plant

Danny Robbins is touring again with #uncanny and I don't mind if I do

Coronation Street - written by H.V. Kershaw (27th February 1978). With Hilda and Elsie still no closer to solving their dispute (over the hole in Hilda and Stan's bedroom ceiling, caused by Suzie) they agree to take the matter to arbitration.

The Black Hole (1979): USS Palomino, art by Peter Ellenshaw

S7 dispatched. I'm wondering if there's any chance of a weekend delivery. I'll probably miss it if there is but this boi is gonna pray to the Primord gods
