Same, as a young Gen X’er, and even after hearing about the NYDolls, there was a post hoc competition between bands that didn’t exist in real life. I liked the Ramones, so I wasn’t as interested in the NY Dolls, which would’ve made no sense to anyone actually living there. Music *loves* competitions

What a great win for the Kraken. They played 2.5 periods of underwhelming, listless hockey, and then a brilliant 10 minutes between the end of the 3rd and OT.

It’d be tough to award a score on a play like that for excessive offsides penalties if Philly kept running hard counts and trying to induce offsides. It’s all moot now, but I’m sympathetic to Washington. Why not guess? You’re not going to stop the shove if you play it straight.
