The privacy film on my bathroom window has suddenly decided it no longer wants to do its job & keeps peeling off (I’ve reapplied it almost every day this week) & I don’t want to buy more but also don’t have another option for the window unless I start closing the blinds & then it feels so dark.

My family has a fb messenger group chat, the 7 siblings, our parents, & the cousins. Apparently my brother & cousin are demanding a family reunion 😂 so now I need to figure out time off for that in June.

At 402am I was woken up by whining & incessant scratching from Axel’s crate. He rarely does that & it usually means something is wrong, so I let him out & he beelined for the door, still whining. He barely made it outside before he was having diarrhea all over the side yard 😭

My resistance feels futile but I’m going to keep doing it. I have kept every dime I’ve spent (with the exception of gas, Wawa, & groceries, TJs) local this week. I will only get pet supplies locally even though it was about $30 more/mo.

6 months ago I never would have considered getting up on a Saturday to do anything other than chores or brunch. Now my favorite Saturday morning activities are trips to the farmers market & coffee dates around the city. Sure it means my chores get pushed back but the community time is so worth it.
