Frightening people with acronyms

I just got back from 36 hours in Ukraine with my brother Scott. Wanted to share a story from while we were there. At a hospital, we talked with a wounded Ukrainian soldier. I asked him what he thought about the recent change in US policy. His response in English was, “What the fuck.”

Vance has, for years, used this technique where he mischaracterizes the position of his opponents by taking it to an extreme that they never advocated, then arguing w/that fictitious position. Supporters don’t want “permanent” shipments, nor did we advocate de-industrialization.

The greatest political scandal today is not what Trump is doing. It is the fact that congressional Republicans have given up their role in the constitutional system as a check on the executive branch.
