#SpoonieAuthChat to a degree, yes. My MCs are neurodivergent and have mental health issues and traumatic pasts. There’s also not as many bisexual/polyamorous romance books as I’d like. So, I created my four bi MCs, mixed them in with Arthurian legend and climate change, and the rest is history.
