JD Vance is so nauseatingly unlikeable that he’s literally dragging down the AfD’s approval rating

Political liberalism has a lot of flaws but one of the cool things about it is how it's constructed around the insight that monarchy is a fundamental affront to human dignity 👍

Somebody's got to start being able to see the bloody forest. I suggest Democrats in Congress take a swing at showing leadership on going Big Picture. The D word is not out of line.

Is anyone saying the D word? It should be coming out of bullhorns on every street corner.

Any dictionary can be a pocket dictionary with big enough pants.

Do you remember that time Pence tried to see Hamilton and the cast called him out. Or when McConnell was chased out of a resraurant and not allowed a peaceful meal. Or when Cruz abandoned Texas during the deep freeze and we shamed him into going home. That. Do that.

The mighty unelected billionaire and the Heritage Foundation are going after little fry Wikipedia editors if they don't like page contents. Pathetic, truly, but also Bad. www.404media.co/email/38ceb1...

It's a big and scary question.

Great livestream/podcast with tons of background info on the USAID crisis, the agency history, and implications of a shutdown. Thanks @lawfare.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=9V0Q...

USAID helps make Americans safer and supports our foreign policy goals. It's not just being nice. Without it we will be in a more dangerous place. Tens of thousands domestically are also losing their jobs, which will have ripple effects in the economy. We need to fight. youtu.be/OIHJub72vuM?...

“When women are free to make their own decisions about their lives and to follow our dreams, we are unstoppable. But when Roe v. Wade was overturned, a generation of young people lost that freedom.” — Cecile Richards

I’m still thinking about this woman in Georgia—miscarrying and hemorrhaging ‘dinner plate-sized clots’—who, even after qualifying for an abortion, couldn’t skip the state’s 24-hour waiting period because she wasn’t close enough to dying. This is torture
