Bee yard is up and hives are buzzing. (Just need to finish wiring the solar panel for the electric fence. Don’t want the neighborhood bear getting into the bee boxes)

Setting up the new apiary space and installing the bees today 😄

While I love sharing my “you gotta read ____” thoughts with those around me, I have been consciously and purposefully asking friends/family about their recs. I have been cultivating my reading around their suggestions, so that our next convo can revolve around the title they liked. It’s been fun

Did anyone else have one of these at their local playground? We called it “The Witch’s Hat” and it was awesome. Our playground organizers made sure there were tires stacked around the pole to about waist high because ya know safety. Hoo-boy the number of broken arms I witnessed.

I didn’t get any writing done today, but I did finish reading a book so… we’ll count it as “research” because while I really enjoyed the storyline I also loved the writing style of the author.

Ave yourself with a cartoon you watched as a kid… I was torn between this one and Jem, but also G.I. Joe

Umm… so it’s been 2 months since I last posted?! Not sure why. No big reason or excuse. Just kinda fell off social media stuff. Not intentional (it would sound way more noble if it was 😂) I’m still here, friends. I swear. Don’t start unfollowing me 😭

Being more consistent in get a Pilates session (even if only 15 minutes) every day. My next planned step is to be consistent in getting words each day. Progress. It’s all about making progress.

All of the reading I’ve been doing struck me with the most motivating “get back to writing” mood. My #AmWriting friends keep going, keep writing your stories bc the awe inducing craft of your words may not only entertain, but also inspire others to write.

Had a lovely time last evening hosting neighbors at our house. Got up this morning & hiked 5 miles w/ friends. It was a fantastic start to the day & new year. Spent the rest of the day under a cozy blanket w/ an occasional cup of tea while I finished reading THE LAST TIME I LIED by Riley Sager.

I love that I’m the only one in my house who likes Stilton cheese. On charcuterie nights that means more cheese for me 😋
