πŸ’”πŸ’ "Anticipatory grief – feeling grief before someone dies – affects many people with a loved one nearing the end of life. But most people don’t realise that what they’re experiencing is grief." Bereavement counsellor Jane Murray explains how we can help. πŸ‘‡ www.mariecurie.org.uk/blog/pre-dea...

"I care for people at the end of life. They often tell me about their big regrets & it's always about time. When I entered the Great British Bake Off tent, I promised myself I wasn't going to stress if I went home in the second round, third round, whatever, because it's only cake – not a life." πŸ’›

"Wes Streeting is right. No one should die in hospital when they don’t want or need to be there. The state of end of life care needs to change." πŸ’” Read more from Dr Sarah Holmes: www.lbc.co.uk/opinion/view... #FixEndofLifeCare @rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social @lbc.co.uk
