So sad to hear about Joshua Clover’s passing. "Riot. Strike. Riot" has had a major influence on me. I was lucky to get the chance to meet this generous, kind, and brilliant thinker at MIR's summer seminar in the mountains of California last year. My first interaction with Joshua was when... 1/3

Listening to @anastasiyakotova.bsky.social’s talk on her brilliant work on corporate harm and international criminal law is the perfect start of the day

Given the all-encompassing drift towards further anti-Palestinian hysteria, right now I honestly can’t see a viable, realistic scenario for ESIL 2025 happening at @freieuniversitaet.bsky.social without putting participating (non-German) scholars at severe risk of state repression.

✨CALL FOR ABSTRACTS✨ We are excited to publish the Call for Abstracts for our 10th annual conference: ABOLITION. The conference will take place at Aarhus University, Denmark, on 10-11 October 2025. As usual, we also accept papers outside this year's theme! marxistiskestudier.com/2025/03/06/c...

Two more weeks until my PhD submission date! I’ve stacked up the fridge and barricaded myself in @sorenmau.bsky.social’s cabin, not leaving until this baby is out of my hands. Any advice for handling these terrifying final hours is appreciated 💕

who has written something good about the potential uses of digital technologies in a post-capitalist world, from a perspective that is critical of FALC/accelerationism-style tech-optimism yet also does not reject that digital technologies might come in handy under communism?

LPE friends, big announcement! 🔥🔥 This Sept, the first annual LPE conference, launching a new LPE Association! Been working hard on this, with an amazing crowd of LPE fac and groups - more here: law.richmond.edu/faculty/Inau....

In the last 3 months of 2024, I applied for 51 academic jobs; 3 in Denmark, 48 in the US. After waiting and waiting and waiting, the results are in: I made it to one shortlist, had one Zoom interview, and received zero offers. This market is so brutal. In other words: I'm still looking for a job!

I’m very disappointed in my algorithm
