Great to see yesterday’s @thenewsagents.com episode look into the backlash to animal feed additives to reduce livestock emissions. Less great to hear them perpetuate the common misconception that most methane is emitted through cow flatulence - it’s actually livestock burping that’s the culprit!

This week we launched the @thecccuk.bsky.social work on the UK's 7th Carbon Budget (2038 to 2042) - and the UK's 2035 NDC. We'll advise on a new path to UK Net Zero. This explains how we'll do it. The big news is we'll publish our advice in early 2025. www.theccc.org.uk/publication/...
