He’s baaaaaaaaack

Interesting thing for the President to say about a person who, according the government’s lawyers, “has no actual or formal authority to make government decisions himself” and “only has the ability to advise the President, or communicate the President’s directives.”

The single greatest failure of the Democrats was not investigating this election.

We have been careful to avoid using the word coup, but it’s time to call it what it is—this is a coup. Trump signed an executive order granting only the attorney general or the president the authority to interpret laws executed by the executive branch.

We all see what’s happening—because we are the target! Who doesn’t know someone affected? “It’s a level of incompetence that we’ve never seen before in government. To say that Elon Musk is not running the United States right now is really a fallacy.” — @dougjones.bsky.social

The UK has a shadow cabinet - political positions within the party that isn’t in power - and so should we. Plus, we need weekly press briefings led by @petebuttigieg.bsky.social on the state of the union. Business-as-usual time is over.

Every aspect of the Rubio-Lavrov talks in Riyadh is bad. Negotiating over the head of Ukraine indicates a sellout. Excluding the Europeans reveals indifference to Ukraine's future economic reconstruction (since the Europeans will pay the largest share).

Richest man in the world muses about Jailing reporters, nothing to see here

Your good new story for the day. I just received a message from a landlord in Florida. He has lost over $30,000 in rentals since Canadians began the boycott. Canadians are doing their part. LET'S TAKE THE BOYCOTT INTERNATIONAL. We invite allied nations to boycott all things American.

The flying public needs answers. How many FAA personnel were just fired? What positions? And why?

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general. If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

Recommend follow.

Trump just fired 88 employees at the Western Area Power Administration. Combined with Elon’s “buyout,” we could be looking at a 20% reduction in their workforce, crippling the western grid and leading to blackouts and power outages.

This is probably the most accurate take.

I’m sure it’s just my TDS, but I think Trump is proving to be exactly as bad as we said he was going to be and people who acted like we were hysterical should be embarrassed they didn’t do more to try and stop it.

This is fascism.

If you’ve ever taken the oath to uphold the Constitution, this is the time to live up to it.

CISA definitely needed more courage, and less political interference, and Biden should have insisted on that, this is exactly the wrong direction! This sends invitation to foreign and domestic attackers to manipulate our elections with impunity. Both parties okay with that?

Incompetence in Washington puts every American at risk, no matter how you voted. No one should be happy that the DOGE team - the same folks who randomly published classified U.S. security information online today - wants access to your bank account & Social Security numbers.

Even worse incompetence: they accidentally fired, then apparently today un-fired, hundreds of the people who manage America's nuclear weapons.

A line prosecutor did this. Whats wrong with the GOP that they can’t? www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

OUR LAWLESS GOVERNMENT We are going to need fearless judges to save democracy! JD Vance laid out the roadmap: Defy the courts. “Judges aren’t allowed to control the executive’s legitimate power.”

If you’re serious about election fairness and voting rights, these facts presented by @kaburbank.bsky.social are super important!

🚨This article is the first that really dares to explore the threats to election security in Nov 2024 posed by T***p’s allies that was intentionally ignored by Garland’s DOJ, FBI and election officials. MUST READ. @DropSiteNews @kaburbank.bsky.social www.dropsitenews.com/p/why-we-sho...

Elon—the richest man on Earth—is gutting the world’s largest provider of food aid. He could end world hunger single-handedly and still be the richest man alive. But he won’t. Instead, he spent 40 million on Super Bowl ads attacking USAID! Stand with USAID: share this counter-ad…

It’s pretty insane that a private citizen can come in, hijack federal government servers, fire people, and steal their PII.

Is any senator, member of Congress, or really anyone in a position of any actual power or authority, going to step up and express outrage with an actual plan to DO SOMETHING? These dipshit social media posts being like “Things are bad and illegal! 🥴” are about to make my head explode

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent. Opportunities are everywhere. Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

🤷🏼‍♀️

We passed a law. They don’t get to force people to petition the king for mercy. We are still a democracy and this will be found illegal.

ON TRUMP’S TRULY INSANE (SECOND) FIRST WEEK AS PRESIDENT (Part 1 of 3)

A lot

But, my spineless NC Sen. Tillis voted yes. 🤬

If Lisa Murkowski can say no to Hegseth what is wrong with Joni Ernst??

Character matters. It does. And no amount of tough talk on TV can make up for Pete Hegseth's distinct lack of character.

Sumter, County GA - Sounds like a human interest story, but it's quite serious. An election official awarded invalid votes to a candidate, grossly distorting official results. More here from the Coalition for Good Governance: myemail.constantcontact.com/Mickey-Mouse... www.ajc.com/politics/vot...

How did Elon know so much about PA's voting equipment? Could it have anything to do with the copies of voting software taken unlawfully and that was ignored by the PA AG, FBI and Garland DOJ? apnews.com/article/penn...

People are asking how could Elon Musk know so much about the Pennsylvania voting machines? Maybe it had something to do with the coordinated plot by Trump allies to unlawfully take copies of the voting software from PA, GA, MI, AZ & CO and the DOJ did nothing about it? slate.com/news-and-pol...
