Today in 1987, the Airbus A320 first took to the skies. Today, more than 12,000 members of the A320 family (A318/9/A320/1 + neos) have been built and at any given moment there are between 3,000 and 5,000 members of the family in the air.

All 245 ensemble members all plotted at once from GFSπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ, ECMWFπŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί, ICONπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ, GEMπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦, BOMπŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί and the UK METOfficeπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Since when do i like "Microsoft Excel championships"? πŸ˜‚ I tweeted about this one time because it was a funny discover.

Did you know that we have a Discord server were you can discuss all the latest Test & Delivery Flight Activities? We also just posted the most viewed Aircraft on the site for each Aircraft Family in 2024 πŸ‘πŸ» discord.com/channels...

Looking out the window at all the white stuff, I'm positive that one day we can enjoy weather like this again soon πŸ’ͺ🏻

This is hilarious. Doing songs slowed or with reverb is thing these days with new songs (to be used for social media/tiktok etc). But this guy did a version of what it sounds like when your at a bathroom at a club πŸ˜‚

"...why are these planes even allowed to navigate when the conditions of that track in the airport were freezing..." πŸ€” A friendly reminder to avoid looking at social media comments after a plane accident.

Gulfstream recently talked about their last G650 being produced. The only one I could find that is left over is N698GA (MSN 6598), which right now is in the air for its First Flight. I couldn't find any newer MSN's in the FAA registry. www.flightaware.com/...

Reasonably quiet at Toronto (YYZ) this morning with the ongoing Winter Storm across the area.

Now that both Delta Airlines aircraft (A321neo and A350) with the special 100th Anniversary livery are almost ready for their First Flight, maybe they should do a formation flight prior to Delivery πŸ˜‰

Last night we got between 20-25cm of snow. Well this weekend it looks like another potential 20-30cm.

Well, Toronto Pearson (YYZ) sounds like a fun time! ❄️

It baffles me how in 2025 you still need network drivers to connect to the internet on Windows. That requires a USB drive and another computer to even install it and even then it can never find the file. Even if it's needed by the OS, it should just always be there by default. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Why am i so impressed!? @pinksky.app basically allows you to browse your Bluesky feed using an Instagram-like interface πŸ‘πŸΌ

This time it is Boeing turn. They are sending a 777X Test aircraft to Curacao (CUR) for testing. ➑️ aviation.flights/boe/777/64241

Still seeing if the system on Wed-Thu has the potential to be quite a snowstorm for my area ❄️

I guess @climate.noaa.gov will be gone soon?

My daughter is just casually carrying around some avgeek stuff. I haven't seen this one for a few years.

The Community Log in @aviation.flights is becoming more and more in the foreground. Each Aircraft profile now has a new "Operator History" tab. This combines the Aircraft Manufacturer flights as well as the Community Log to create visual historical depiction πŸ‘ e.g. aviation.flights/aib/A320/417...

It does beg the question though why NOAA is the only source for a lot of the meteorological observations. It's very easy to notice. If their servers go down all maps on the internet that show METARs go blank. It doesn't matter who you pay to get the METARs from. It's not really ideal in that sense.

How have I never heard of this before? #snowpolo www.snowpolo-stmorit...

This is interesting. It ties right into the Way back machine. πŸ‘
