And @theguardian.com has a visual guide to the squad. www.theguardian.com/football/gal...

No real surprises in Wiegman's Euro #Lionesses squad. Good to see that Michelle made it, and although Lauren James is listed as a forward she could just as easily be used in midfield. Despite the recent disruption, it is still a strong squad that has an element of unpredictability for opponents.

A comfortable win for England, but some encouraging performances for the Windies. We should see a few changes for England, and hopefully a closer contest if the Windies can build on yesterday's promise. youtu.be/dTl7cwwt9-o?...

Don't study in the US, seems to be what they are saying. アメリカで研究するなということ? mainichi.jp/english/arti...

And just like that, Russo gives the Lionesses the lead. It was much against the run of play, but La Roja pay the penalty for not playing to the whistle as a clumsy challenge by Charles is not called for a foul.

The starting XIs on the Beebs feed, including graphics for both teams. No surprises for the Lionesses as Stanway gets to start, but probably won't play the full 90 mins. Good test for Charles and Morgan in defence. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

Good first half from the @Lionesses. A good game for Aggie, proving the team can still score goals with her up front, and Hempo is back. The second half was not as good, so still not firing on all cylinders yet, but very encouraging. youtu.be/rN8QAJOAmqs?...

Sad to see this news. Instead of cashing in with the @fifawwc.bsky.social FIFA needs to investigate why so many of these ACL injuries are happening and take steps to reduce them.

Nice write-up for Stina Blackstenius here. She clearly did not enjoy doing interviews after the game, so won't be following in Alex Scott's footsteps, but gives @arsenalwfc.bsky.social a similar threat to that Mayra Ramirez gives Chelsea. www.theguardian.com/football/202...

Well done Wuhan, and commiserations to Melbourne. Looks like Japanese clubs will have to raise their game. A big difference in prize money is emerging. www.theguardian.com/football/202...

Once the dust settles, and the party stops, it will be interesting to see where Chloe Kelly ends up when her contract expires. Arsenal, must be favourites, but a return to the north may also be an option, just not to Man City. Chloe wasn't the only one unhappy there. www.nytimes.com/athletic/637...

Farm minister Shinjiro Koizumi has revealed the details of a no-bid contract procedure that carries the goal of halving what consumers are paying at supermarkets for the staple grain by early June.

@skynewsrss.bsky.social with decent coverage of Arsenal's celebrations at the Emirates this morning. Not sure how recovered the Lioness contingent will be by Friday, but who cares. As long as they are ready for July. www.youtube.com/live/CORcY8P...

The best of the reports on yesterday's game. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

And here are the starting XIs.

Our old friends DAZN have a live feed for tonight's Champions' League final. Will be a Gooner for the next couple of hours. www.youtube.com/live/-iz4hee...

The World Sevens kicks off, and a good day for the two Manchester teams there. Aoba and Aemu with good goals for City in their game. youtu.be/lgL8CQTDq4c?...

Ange strikes again, winning a trophy in his second season at a club. Will it be enough to keep his job? Hope so, and the £100m for qualifying for the CL should help. And Amorim? He is only there to stop Bruno leaving, so we'll have to see what happens over the summer. youtu.be/69bHE7Os714?...

Kurokawa’s beautiful equaliser wasn’t enough for Gamba Osaka to win the match. Vissel Kobe beat Gamba 3-2 in a very entertaining match. Photos taken for @jsoccermagazine.bsky.social

In the end, Chelsea ran out comfortable winners. United kept it tight, until near the end, but didn't really pose enough of a threat to the Chelsea goal. Ella Toone probably had their best chance but the ball held up enough to make her volley awkward. www.theguardian.com/football/liv...

And this is how the Beeb thinks they will line up.

No Miyazawa vs Hamano matchup for the Women's FA Cup Final, at least not from the start. Only Miyazawa gets to the start. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

Here is a better summary of the game, and they key moments that decided the outcome. www.theguardian.com/football/202...

Stop Crying Your Heart Out, City. Key moments from the Cup Final. youtu.be/pyVSUQn3vhM?...

Fifteen minutes of Man City possession, but on their first foray forward Palace score. So far, all going to the Glasner plan. #FACup

Not convinced about some of these selections. No mention of Ayaka Yamashita, who kept City in several games early on. Millie Bright is still an important presence, but her lack of pace was exposed a few times. www.theguardian.com/football/202...

Bullshitter Starmer blaming the Tories again as he panders to the racists.

Kim Little makes 4-1 to the Gunners. Game over!

Mariona Caldentey converts a penalty to give Arsenal a 2-1 lead. Also another example of Chloe Kelly reducing the pressure on the taker by standing near the penalty spot with the ball, before handing it over to Mariona.

1-1 and HT between Arsenal and Man United. Chloe Kelly capitalised on a goal-keeping error early one, but Ella Toone equalised in what has been an engrossing contest. Good news for the Lionesses and sets up the second half nicely.

Miyazawa starts for United in their final game of the season, against Arsenal.

I think this is a messed opportunity. Simple relegation may not have been the answer, but exploring play-offs should have been considered. www.theguardian.com/football/202...

Great interview with Renee Hector, manager of Watford FC Women, who took inspiration from Hope Powell. www.theguardian.com/football/202...

It is sad that the BBC was more interested in pandering to conspiracy theorists and hijacked Eni's interview to criticise Wrighty. Naive of her to allow it to happen, rather than just deflect the attempt. www.theguardian.com/football/202...

Congratulations to @arsenalwfc.bsky.social! They go one better than Chelsea and make it to the Final. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

Will the Premier League and @barclayswslbot.bsky.social borrow some ideas from the J.League and introduce play-offs between the relegation and promotion teams? Might be worth considering if promoted teams continue to fail to stay up. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba...

Both Arsenal and Chelsea face an uphill battle to make the final, but Arsenal look to have the batter chance. Their one chance to finish in a better position than Chelsea this season? youtu.be/pO9PH-259tk?...

Arsenal had their chances and could still turn this around, but Lyon were more clinical and will be dangerous on the counter. youtu.be/QrdBUclS9rs?...

Women's Champion's League semi-final stream. Having sounded a doubt, Russo starts fro Arsenal. www.youtube.com/live/QRVlSGy...

J.Soccer featured Fuka Nagano back in 2016... www.facebook.com/share/p/18ua...

Miayazawa and Hasegawa start, as you'd expect, but main interest for today's Manchester derby is Oyama on the bench for Man City.
