Very, very happy to learn yesterday that I got my old seasonal job back at Beamish Museum! The most fun job I've ever had and working in the 1913 town is the best way possible to research my early 20th Century Lovecraftian horror. Happy days! www.beamish.org.uk

Currently typing up my old diaries summarising the weather and wildlife through the year where I live (Co. Durham, UK). Aim is to use them to get the right birdsong, wildflowers etc for a given time of year in my stories. For 2013 just reached 3rd April and the default entry is STILL "Still cold".
