On tomorrow's (Monday's!) Oxide and Friends, @ahl.bsky.social and I will be joined by @orhun.dev at a Europe-friendly time (9a Pacific/5p GMT/8p TRT) to talk about TUIs in general -- and the terrific Ratatui in particular. Join us! discord.gg/QrcKGTTPrF?e...

Late night programming / database upgrade. Can confirm the Oxide / DTracs.Conf 24 shirt results in +10 intelligence and +5 motivation. That honestly went way to smoothly. I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. 👀

Thank you, I had lost a few in the switch over!

Welcome to my mega 🧵 on getting started with Rust on the RP2040! This thread aims to get you started with writing Rust on the Raspberry Pi Pico. The actual end result will just be a blinking on-board LED. It’s up to YOU to take this foundation and make awesome projects from it.

Besides being a Programmer I’m also a Paramedic. Last week I testified in a murder case as a witness (being that I was the first Paramedic on scene.) Just found out the guy was acquitted. The scene was 300 feet from my primary turn out location. Not looking forward to going to work.

I’m a big fan of Sainz, loved him at McLaren and have been following him ever since. Loved his dad racing with Colin McRea in WRC. But I don’t get how he didn’t get a penalty for cutting the pit entry line. It makes no bloody sense.

This should be exciting and / or terrifying.

Congratulations to the PHP Dev team for PHP 8.4 getting released. That's a huge milestone for the whole community.
