Re-watching R Polanski's +enjoyable THE NINTH GATE makes me want to read ALEXANDRE DUMAS. DICKENS, TWAIN, 3 or 4 by PROUST, 3 by R LOUIS STEVENSON, BRAM STOKER, BARRIE, CARROLL. No Dumas. Not sure why the Polanski film pushes me here but it has. Currently looking at lists of DUMAS books. This one.
