Despite how enthusiastic the Farage party and some others on the political right are for Trump, as a country the UK really,really isn't, and support for Ukraine is higher here than almost anywhere else. Lots of interesting stats in the quoted thread.

Awesome. I remember this from my teenage years, and the first episode of Eastenders with a couple of people (Den? Ali? or was it Michelle Fowler's dad?) bursting in to the flat of Reg Cox. Looks way better now than on the 18" CRT TV from Radio Rentals back then.

One of the most pernicious things I've seen start to be normalised is people saying about Trump and co, "Well it's just a course correction because woke has gone too far and people are so joyless". No. It's fear and hatred and persecution from people who wouldn't rise to the top in an equal society
