I heard through the grapevine that more than one invited speaker to the American Chemical Society spring meeting tis week were denied visas. What is next month's AACR meeting going to be like - between people losing travel money, denied visas, denied entry... crazy.

The Vancouver Symphony played in Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto Sunday afternoon as guests of the Toropnto Symphony. They also (unexpectedly) played "Oh Canada". Brought the house down.
