Chaosium's The Companions of Arthur community content program for Pendragon recently featured prominently in a unique showcase for legal professionals to share their creative endeavours at the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿!

Staff Artist at Chaosium Inc. My job is to bring worlds to life. I like to illustrate subtle stories of the mundane, not just the stories of the heroes. And the heroes are not perfect either. My view is not focused in the middle of the scene. It’s a little bit off*.
I am where I want to be.

Cthulhu is engulfing both the Sun and the Star, on the same week!

Did you know the recently-released Pendragon Gamemaster's Handbook includes two all-new scenarios for #Pendragon by Greg Stafford? These are designed as either a starting point for a group of fresh Player-knights, or for use in an ongoing campaign.

These are so wonderful. 🔍❤️

Folding laundry, listening to ABC Classic FM and suddenly the stirring wide open theme to the splendid Gregory Peck western Big Country sounds forth. “That’d be @dangolding.com on the desk” I figure, tipping my imaginary hat.

In a nutshell:

Do you run Pendragon? Do you need more adventures, or are you inspired to write one yourself? The Companions of Arthur community content program is the place for both those things! Right now we're getting ready for Pentecost, the questiest time of the year. www.drivethrurpg.com/cc/48/Compan...

Take two minutes today and listen to "Fantasy Baseball at the End of the World" by Canadian poet-songwriter John K. Samson, topical once more. The song starts with catharsis and ends with inspiration. Love to all. Gonna get organised. johnksamsonmusic.bandcamp.com/album/fantas...

No particular reason:

AI is getting to U2 on your iPhone levels.

Back in the 1980s Penny ran a fantastic RQ Vikings campaign, and in 2012 Pedro Ziviani wrote Mythic Iceland, setting it firmly in the land of Grettir & Egil. It's back as Age of Vikings, a standalone Chaosium RPG fuelled by fire, ice, and the Basic Roleplaying system. I cannot wait to start a saga.

ICYMI! The Pendragon: Gamemaster's Handbook is coming soon! What are you most looking forward to?

2025 is Chaosium's 50th anniversary: our revered founder Greg Stafford established the company in 1975. Stay tuned for some exciting announcements about how we'll be celebrating our half-century throughout the year, and ways you can join us in the celebrations!

Looking forwards to CanCon in a few weeks! It was the first con I ever went to in (cough) 1981; we played AD&D. It’s nice to rediscover it. This year I’m running “Adventure of the Bone-White Raven” (Pendragon) and “A Weekend in the Country” (Cthulhu by Gaslight). chaosconventions.com/cancon-2025/

Finally did a full design of my Call of Cthulhu TTRPG character for my bro’s game: Dr. Ava Brewer. Miskatonic Alum, expert in physics/resonance, & friend of Dr. West. She is meant to resemble inventor/actress Hedy Lamar. She’s such a delight to play as! 😄

It's been a busy 2024 for the Chaosium team! In case you've missed something, here's a run-down of everything new we've released this year, on the Chaosium website, at @drivethrurpg.com, and in retail distribution. (so much it's in two parts!)
