Louder please

Price increases on the way

Incompetence in Washington puts every American at risk, no matter how you voted. No one should be happy that the DOGE team - the same folks who randomly published classified U.S. security information online today - wants access to your bank account & Social Security numbers.

This vote alone is a dangerous endorsement of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s health misinformation and lies. How many lives are Republicans willing to risk for this nominee? The Senate must not confirm RFK Jr. www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...

Senator Bill Cassidy, a Republican "torn between his concerns as a doctor and supporting President Trump", denied science and medicine to cast the deciding vote to advance Kennedy, putting his own selfish reelection hopes ahead of his responsibility to Americans.

Stupid behavior has consequences. Apparently no one in a senior leadership position will challenge trump's worst impulses and ask "what happens next, when we...?"

With tariffs (and everything else)“Trump is single-handedly reneging on 80 years of American work to persuade others to trust and rely on the United States.” David Frum’s piece in The Atlantic highlights the stupidity of the situation and made me think even less of the morons who voted for this guy

“Just one week prior to Wednesday’s deadly crash, Trump fired the head of the Transportation Security Administration and all members of the Aviation Security Advisory Committee. “-democracynow

This is pretty accurate framing:

Former Secretary of Transportation--who was not on The Real World or Road Rules--weighs in on the President's efforts to blame the fatal air traffic accident on DEI.

Fuckin' moron. Stay off the H kids, it ain't good for your cognitives...

The truth from the California Department of Water Resources:

The power plant for the proposed data center complex is configured with simple cycle gas turbines and would be polluting, inefficient, and unreliable.

“How about if we buy Alaska?” — Doug Ford, the premier of Ontario, responding to Trump’s offer to make Canada the 51st state.

Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-CA), at news conference, responds to Trump statements today: "He is trying to rewrite history and suppress the truth. That is exactly why he does not want the special counsel's report released down in Florida, and it is exactly why he continues to spread lies about January 6"

Forget the division of Left and Right. We are entering the age of the New Obscurantism: politics fused with magical solutions, superstition, an aura of spirituality and the cultivation of fear www.theatlantic.com/magazine/arc...

Trump still (wrongly) thinks that trade partners pay for tariffs. Maybe he should have attended an economics class or two when he was at Penn?

By electing Trump, we proved the electorate has a plurality of fact-resistant dimwits. An obvious conclusion for Zuckerberg is that facts and fact checks don't matter. The policy is also a grotesque suck up to the president-elect who has never met a fact that he could not twist beyond recognition.
