Was wondering why triangular numbers of odd index are multiples of the index while even indices are not… Turns out it’s trivial. n(n+1)/2 is a multiple of the odd term but only of half the even term.

I just fundamentally do not understand all the talk about shrinkflation, because the entire concept is based on a premise that just doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t buy food by the packet price. I ALWAYS shop by unit price, and I have done for the around 20 years I’ve been shopping independently.
