Dozens of companies who sponsored Pride marches last year have pulled out this year, including: Dyson Nivea Tiffany & Co. Capital One UPS Disney DoorDash Live Nation Nissan Citi Corporate Pride was always a hoax. https://popular.info/p/pride-and-prejudice-in-corporate

The victim of the hoax "remains in Ice detention at a facility in Juneau, Wisconsin."

This morning we drove to Bozeman Pride for @zoandbehold.bsky.social to speak, then went down to Yellowstone and saw incredible sights. Then, on the drive back to Missoula at 1AM, the heavens erupted. Naked eye visible aurora. The northern lights told us Happy Pride :)

It’s hard to express how perfectly this book is aimed at my demographic: Bechdel superfans who are tearing their hair out about rising fascism and the devolution of cable TV and also, who sit around wondering what’s up with the characters from Dykes To Watch Out For:

Hey folks, I have a HUGE request from the Trevor Project and would appreciate help getting the word out. Trevor is now recruiting for it's 2025 National Youth Survey. They need people 13-24, LGBTQ+, in the United States to take it. This research is critical to LGBTQ+ rights. Take it here:

The Supreme Court ruled that a president cannot be prosecuted for anything that could be construed as an official duty. Today Leavitt said that Trump is holding this meme coin grift dinner as a personal matter. Just pointing that out.

if dems want messaging help, stop telling people you're "fighting back." it sounds like you're being mugged. call off the podcaster search, take your ridiculous money pile and try opening some food banks and free clinics. hurricanes are coming and the feds have no plan. looks like an opening to me.

At Central Library, Brooklyn A Trump exec order bans almost 300 words from being used by federal agencies, the military and any org that receives federal funds. These kinds of "editorial" decisions were popular in Germany in the early 30s. A running list can be found here: pen.org/banned-words...

It's fascinating and horrifying to me that the vast majority of people in the US are not grasping the totality of what's happening and the danger we are all in.

Sign up to help with what will be a gargantuan NYC march.

I feel so blessed to have this woman as our attorney general in New York. Seriously, bless you, Letitia James!

Amazing that it runs at all.

Today NYers protested outside the El Salvador Mission to demand that all CECOT detainees be returned safely to the U.S., and that all detainees be allowed to argue their right to stay in the U.S. with due process. We also demand that El Salvador refuse to accept any additional detainees from the US.

One way to spread courage in a time of great fear is by publicly, effusively celebrating those who are refusing to cooperate with authoritarianism. Ask yourself: Who in your community is standing up for democracy, dignity, and decency? lakauffman.substack.com/p/spread-cou...

As a person who has studied history, an autism registry is a five alarm fire.

“Homelessness persists not because we don’t know how to solve it but because the structures of power in this country benefit from maintaining the status quo.” A powerful piece that draws on THERE IS NO PLACE FOR US to dismantle the myth of the “jobless” homeless:
