#MayThe4thBeWithYou I look at #Commodore64 #StarWars and some of the technical details in the game. youtu.be/F_LiOzbYF54

So many NMIs and IRQs (the lines in the side borders)

For #Commodore64 "Tusari 2 The river" single level packaged into a small self contained game. I thought I would spend a couple of days making the technical demo into a properly game. The download is free and there is source code. martin-piper.itch.io/tusari-2-the...

Orange flump is embarrassed by his tariffs and the increases in cost to the consumers. That's why he is scared of retailers, like @amazon, making tariff costs transparent and obvious to consumers. This is precisely why tariff costs should be public, to embarrass the orange child.

Need a real #Commodore64 hardware check. Run the prg from link and move Tusari to the top of the screen and leave it for about 15 minutes. On my old machine the crystal sprites will display corrupted data down the left edge. If you see the same please let me know. github.com/martinpiper/...

In this video I give a quick look at what I think is the original version of #Commodore64 SEUCK on tape that I had, the animating introduction screen and checking for any differences compared to other SEUCK releases. youtu.be/rulRFAyfUPI

#Commodore64 #MegaWang2000TurboEdition hardware "After Burner" demo now includes the "canyon" sequence which reuses some of the landing sequence code. Interestingly the original arcade canyon sequence does not rotate and that's probably due to the huge sprites used. youtu.be/JylEPvrckCM

💥 BREAKING: Goldman Sachs shareholders voted today to reject two anti-DEI proposals, both by 98-2 percent. GS Board urged shareholders to vote to reject proposals. "We believe that diversity, including diversity of thought, experience and perspectives, is important to our commercial success."

I look at #Commodore64 "Live and Let Die" published in 1988 by Domark. Bitmap track rendering. Lots of sprite frames. Dynamic sprites. A lot like Buggy Boy. youtu.be/iefFcDFQTEk

To increase the colours available, the palette banks are now dynamic during the titles and game. The landing sequence objects switch palette banks and then the buildings after that use another palette bank. #Commodore64 #MegaWang2000TurboEdition hardware "After Burner" demo.

Added a runway for the landing and takeoff refueling sequence to my #MegaWang2000TurboEdition hardware "After Burner" demo. This uses the APU "copper" board and the tiles layer containing a "road" with perspective.

Of course the landing area needs trees, lots of trees, to check the sprite draw speed... I need to add a runway next.

I've found some hardware optimisations that should give me 15% more sprite draw time for my "After Burner" demo for #Commodore64 and my #MegaWang2000TurboEdition hardware. While PCBWay builds the update, I've been adding some extra landing and takeoff tests and extra graphics.

In this video I take a look at #Commodore64 "Koronis Rift", the landscape rendering using optimised column spans and dynamic sprites. youtu.be/oYR4lC0x4WU

Created a customised #Commodore64 and #Commodore1541 ChatGPT that should be able to answer coding related questions. Give it a try. :) chatgpt.com/g/g-67f3e3ed...

#Commodore64 "Little Computer People", are they alive? youtu.be/Qa8Xl63xqfs

Senior moment... I was just looking for standard can oscillators like this. Scrolling down the list I was puzzled why there weren't any options between 10MHz to 16MHz, there should be lots of choice... ... I was looking at the Hz options, not even KHz, definitely not MHz...

My "After Burner II" demo running on a real #Commodore64 with hundreds of scaled sprites, sampled audio, RGB565 colour, and higher resolution. Using my #MegaWang2000TurboEdition hardware. Thanks to @pcbwayofficial.bsky.social for a build that worked first time. youtu.be/2BH-KohmC6U

#MegaWang2000TurboEdition quick visual update about the new super scaled sprites PCB for the #Commodore64 ... Video later...
