My name is Ben and I have autism. I’m not less than anyone else I just see the world differently. Lately I’ve been working on losing weight by walking. I walked 5 miles yesterday. It’s also helps with my confidence and I can enjoy the outdoors and the scenery.

Paul Revere’s ride was 250 years ago tonight.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you. Senator Van Hollen lives this attitude – and planted hope in hopelessness. (I’m not crying, you’re crying.)

“I don’t think that Trump is trying to kill the press so much he is trying to kill traditional press and buttress *compliant* press,” said Jen Mercieca .. “.. He now realizes he doesn’t need the media,” said Ron Fournier. He’s got,” he said, “his own media.” @michaelkruse.bsky.social @politico.com

Illinois continues to treat the most out-of-state patients seeking abortions compared to every other state in the country, a new report on national abortion trends found.

A US Senator said she lives in fear of retaliation From the President of The United States of America We need ALL Senators to show the same courage expected of 18 year olds sent to war Please call your 2 Senators: 202-224-3121 We’re not ending our 249 year democracy because you’re scared.

one thing that Democratic politicians should take note of is that the overlap between “great political optics” and “actual morally good stuff” is really big right now

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

I have autism. I graduated high school with honors and had the highest SAT score in school history. I've been married to my wonderful wife for 28 years and have three amazing children. I've had a successful career as a software and DevOps engineer and paid plenty in taxes. Go fuck yourself RFK Jr.

Here’s “Basket Case” except it’s about why you shouldn’t use Face ID or a thumbprint to unlock your phone

It’s weird that I’m on a freeway in LA and all I’m thinking is: “No way Sandra Bullock could keep a bus going 55mph on this thing.”

These stories landed today, within 11 hours of each other. This presidential administration is a clear and present danger to the American people.

Black Mirror pitch: POTUS destroys democracy in 90 days. Everyone watches it happen on their phones. The opposition party leaders are 85 years old and post "Hey, stop" once a day. Toiletries are locked behind glass. An evil online bookstore sends Katy Perry into space for feminism. [fin]

Guys, they were okay with khashoggi Of course they’re okay with this

The most relevant piece of information here is the R which Senator Murkowski keeps next to her name. She and three other Senators could take full control of the government out of the hands of the organization she herself describes as using terror tactics.

Black mothers in America face disproportionately high rates of maternal mortality and morbidity. We must do more to ensure access to affordable, quality care. #BlackMaternalHealthWeek

RFK Jr. has directed scientists to explore possible link between autism and midichlorian levels among Jedi candidates.

There is nothing comforting about “I’m just as scared as you” coming from the legislative branch that’s supposed to keep checks and balances on the executive. While she thought it was relatable, it is actually mortifying.

We all know who used this propaganda tactic to falsely claim that certain people are a useless burden on society. Call these Nazis what they are.

If authoritarian rule lasts a decade, Harvard has bigger problems.

Just a reminder: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lacks formal education or professional credentials in critical scientific fields such as biology, neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, immunology, virology, epidemiology, genetics, pharmacology, or medicine.

My adult daughter Rachel works everyday, pays taxes, loves going to movies with her friends, and listens to awful (IMO) music. Our U.S. Dept HHS has lost all of its humanity, compassion, and intellectual curiosity

Let’s be clear - they’re not just deleting DEI policies and code words, they’re deleting actual people of color and women. www.washingtonpost.com/science/2025...

RFK is about to decimate the Black gay community by wiping out HIV prevention funding Affordable access to PrEP and Doxy is going to be a lot harder and all of the progress that has been made over the last 10 years will be erased I hope y’all are paying attention and planning accordingly

Folding 27 NIH institutes and centers down into *8*, which is even worse than the rumored plan for 15, is catastrophic for American biomedical research. Completely insane.

Some Senior VP at Target: Sir we thought The Blacks (TM) would let this go and come back but they haven't come back. They haven't come back sir! CFO: The line must go up, but it keeps going down! CEO, wearily removing glasses: It's time SVP: Sir, you don't mean-- CEO: Get me Al Sharpton

meanwhile, prominent pundits continue to deny that there the administration adheres to a segregationist ideology

Today I learned 3 of the guys who performed on "Rosanna" and "Africa" also played on "Dust in the Wind". A music critic asked them why they joined the new band and one of them said, “Toto? We aren't in Kansas anymore.” You might need to be a boomer to get this one.

Everyone arguing that universities cannot dig into their endowments is contending that every penny of those endowments is either non-negotiably restricted or necessary bedrock for a crisis. The crisis is here. Now what?

“Terrible things are happening outside. Poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, women, and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared.” Diary of Anne Frank January 13, 1943

You just know that beneath some of this Harvard nonsense, the golfer and his little henchman are just mad they didn’t go to Harvard.

Every now and then it hits me that this isn’t just about 1 inhuman act or another, but a bigger picture. That the entire democratic experiment in America is falling apart in front of our eyes. It’s historic in that sense. Which then makes me wonder why all media stories aren’t framed this way.

If the IRS deprives Harvard of its tax-exempt status, that's very bad for Harvard but it's also a catastrophe for the IRS. Instead of a neutral agency that enforces tax law, it will become a tool of partisan warfare. It may never recover.

delusional. he’s 2 years old tops.
