"I ask you to pray to the Lord that he will bless me." #PopeFrancis #PrayTogether

Tonight, let us all pray for our Holy Father Pope Francis as he embraces the Cross of illness, that he might be granted the strength he needs, and that he may be led to a full recovery.

Please pray with us for His Holiness Pope Francis

We pray that God has mercy on his faithful servant, #PopeFrancis, comfort him and give him peace on this feast of the Chair of St. Peter. abcnews.go.com/amp/Internat...

Trump is doing his best to displace Neville Chamberlain as the appeaser-in-chief. The draft dodger wanna be dictator is selling out Ukraine and groveling to a well-established dictator who sees him as a useful idiot.

Every American (let alone every Christian) should raise their voices in support of starving refugees---especially children.

“The whole of salvation history is the story of God looking for us: he offers us love and welcomes us with tenderness.” #PopeFrancis #ShareGodsLove

cruxnow.com/editors-note... We add our prayers to those being offered around the world for John Allen's swift and complete recovery.

A boy displaced by war eats Ready to Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) in Riimenze, South Sudan. RUTF is a fortified peanut butter paste used to treat severe acute malnutrition. It's made at a plant in the state of Georgia and distributed by USAID, which bought $200 million of RUTF last May. No more.

We continue to pray for His Holiness

Pope Francis' treatment for a respiratory tract infection "will require adequate hospitalization" to treat what the Vatican is now describing as a "complex clinical picture."

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow!

The words of the prophets are not just written "on the subway walls and tenement halls," but also on BlueSky feeds to meet our needs.

88-year-old Pope Francis hospitalized, #Vatican cancels events through Monday. We join our prayers with those of Catholics and people of good will around the world for His Holiness #PopeFrancis's health and recovery.

Wisdom! Let us attend!

All flowers are beautiful. Some have thorns, some are taller/smaller, some are more powerfully expressed when they blossom. Calling yellow or white flowers less or more of a flower, perfection, or beauty, than a red one is absurd. Humans are like flowers. All are a perfect expression of love. Awe.

Sister Dorothy Stang, SND, was brutally assassinated on Feb. 12, 2005, by two henchmen sent by wealthy landowners to end her ministry on behalf of poor Amazonian farmers in Para, Brazil. When they blocked her path, she calmly turned back, reading Matthew's gospel "Blessed are the poor in spirit..."

Pope Francis has written a sweeping letter to the U.S. bishops decrying the "major crisis" triggered by President Donald Trump's mass deportation plans and explicitly rejecting Vice President J.D. Vance's attempts to use Catholic theology to justify the administration's immigration crackdown.

Pope Francis has named Tucson’s Bishop Edward Weisenburger (64) as the new Archbishop of Detroit; Weisenburger has been an outspoken advocate of migrants’ rights and an avid supporter of Pope Francis. This is a great appointment for the US Church!

Es ist wirklich kaum zu glauben daß so was jetzt bei uns in den Vereinigten Staaten möglich ist.

Please God, don't allow this image to be corrupted by "someone" trampling on the tree and replacing it with an American flag.

Unlike in centuries past, when "saving souls" by making Catholics was the urgency and motivation of mission, today it's to bring good news to the poor, the oppressed, the least, the lonely and the lost that they are not alone, that they are important, that they have agency and they are loved by God.

Our Maryknoll transitional deacons, Patrick Okok and Matthew Sim, travelled to El Paso, TX with their rector, Fr Brian Barrons to meet the Most Reverend Mark J. Seitz, bishop of the El Paso, who will ordain them as missionary priests later in June this year. #religiouslife #Catholic #missionary

Just one of many reasons why we LOVE #POPE FRANCIS!

📌No lies detected.

Our Lady goes where people suffer most. "You yourself a sword shall pierce that the thoughts of many hearts might be revealed." Simeon--from today's gospel for the feast of the Presentation. (Luke 2:35)

#JapaneseAmericans returned from #prisoncamps 80 years ago to face one of the country's 'greatest swindles' - Los Angeles Times In those days, Maryknoll had missions among Japanese communities on the west coast. Several missioners went with the people into the camps. Stay with those who suffer.

The @prbdata.bsky.social estimated that 60 million deaths could be prevented by 2030 with reasonable investments in primary healthcare (PHC) in low- and middle-income countries. The U.S. should increase its commitment to global welfare, not end it. #health maryknollogc.org/resources/ne...

Upping the ante, Bishop Budde doubles down and calls on the President, the nation, and us to a more radical imperative: LOVE. apple.news/AUF1nQmvTShG...

We stand with the Holy Father, who stands with the teachings of Jesus.
