This historic pub, the Golden Ball, known locally as Snatchems, is in the middle of the @slowwaysuk.bsky.social route between Heysham and #Lancaster which I just snailed. At high spring tides the road is flooded by the Lune Estuary. Fun!

@MartinSLewis is right to mention that energy bills are going up but he doesn't mention the root cause - that we allow the global price of fossil gas to set the price of the energy we make from the wind and sun. If we ‘break the link’ we can lower energy bills.
