It was foggy this morning but the sun did come out later.

What a treasure.

I'm not fond of opera, but my husband is.

I'm pleased you are enjoying my new memoir. Uncle Jake is a rapscallion.

Lovely. Thank you for sharing.

Ms King will be giving away two ARCs of The Knave of Diamonds next Saturday during her live FB chat with the BEES (FB group The Beekeeper's Apprentice(s)) You must be a member of the BEES Facebook Group to participate. promosimple.com/ps/32cf7/kna...

Sheep on the Downs are always a pleasing sight.

Happy St David's Day. I do hope to see daffodils on the hillsides soon.

I do try.

Age is just a number. I ignore mine.

Ramadan Mubarak.

Thank you.

I speak as someone who enjoys coffee first thing in the morning and then strong tea the rest of the day. I've never enjoyed herbal teas.

A lovely morning tea. I'm not a fan of the flavoured teas, but I understand a need for something less potent in the afternoon.

Not quite a tea aficionado then.

A powerful brew.

A true tea connoisseur. I doff my cloche to you.

I do like oolong.

Today was the perfect day to sit by the fire and sip tea. What is your favourite variety?

**My blushes**

How...interesting.

I've never considered my inclusion in Holmes' life as adding zing, but thank you.

How kind, thank you.

The Lantern's Dance is now in paperback.

Our wedding, as chronicled in "The Marriage of Mary Russell" (Mary Russell's War) was as unique as the bride and groom.

Ms King is doing a FB chat with the group, The Beekeeper's Apprentice(S) on Saturday 8 March at 1 PM PST Have you joined yet? www.facebook.com/groups/beeke...

Lovely.

My life has been interesting and my readers seem to enjoy my memoirs.

Being a designated Dark Sky Area makes the South Downs even more special.

His work is striking.

A very talented reader drew this. She got the ring right but placed the pencil in the wrong hand. Still...I'm flattered.

The journal at the heart of THE LANTERN'S DANCE: who is its author, and what did she have to do with Sherlock Holmes' ancestors, the Vernet's ? Now in paperback: tinyurl.com/Lantern-Dance/

How kind of you to recommend my first memoir.

Lovely. A favourite view of mine.

Such a generous donation of Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson's printed material and photographs.

This is always a spectacular and solemn event.

Ms King and I hope to have more giveaways in the coming months, so check my feed and her FB account www.facebook.com/LaurieRKing for information. Also, join the BEES group on FaceBook: www.facebook.com/groups/beeke...
