Major news: Donald Trump has just issued a trans military ban, with much of the details left to Hegseth. It states that being trans is incompatible with "an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle" I know many military trans people who have served admirably for decades. Shameful.

Hot take on slow TV: Moomin (animated, Japanese, 1990), s1, ep13, The Last Dragon on Earth. 📣 I was surprised how the mom set norms to keep the family out of their tween kid's fantasy. Teen friend respects the kid's world too. Episode validates kids' autonomy and discovery, but, too slow for me.
