Tried to play Ikaruga on stream and thereupon made a suitable fool of myself. Why do I keep trying to take on these Treasure shmups with my feeble skills? I haven't even beaten Trouble Shooter yet and that's a way easier shmup than Ikaruga. I just can't think that fast in a shmup.

I'm watching @pixelturkey.com play Flight of the Amazon Queen and got to thinking about decoder rings due to some dialogue in the game. I never got one in a box of cracker jacks but it got me thinking so I looked 'em up on Amazon and they exist on there. Some interesting little tchotchkes to behold.

I was gonna stream this morning but then I didn't. I gotta finish up Secret of Mana (1993) (SNES) so I can crack into some of this new stuff like HighFleet (2021) (PC). I think I may also finally play through all of the Halo MCC in July or August. It's using up a ton of disk space right now.
