Given the literal definition of deportation is removing a foreigner or noncitizen from the country, we - journalists, media orgs - should probably all stop referring to the ‘deportation’ of a 2 year old US citizen. It’s NOT a deportation. I’m not sure what it is. A kidnapping?

Really strong and coherent pushback by @lewisgoodall.com while interviewing Pat McFadden. McFadden seemed to be suggesting you can't call the government's current approach as austerity because, erm....they've decided to change the definition of the word austerity. That ain't gonna wash! @lbc.co.uk

Every time I almost forget the damage this man did - with Brexit, during the pandemic, in terms of public confidence - up he pops to remind me how loathsome he is. Failures like him and Truss used to at least have the decency to disappear from public life. Now, they just grift even harder.
