Dragged myself out for a walk in Delamere Forest this morning before the hordes of school trips arrived to ruin the peace. The view from Old Pale towards Manchester was amazing. Also it was a joy to bump into a couple of former work colleagues that I’d not seen for way over 18 months 🎉

“Borealis” at the Albert Dock Liverpool. Yes, it’s just coloured lights projected onto a mist/smoke filled sky but the effect is quite magical and me being me loved the new age/ambient soundtrack.

I’m avoiding using Amazon by catching the train and heading to Knutsford to pick up a couple of books from the local branch of Waterstones which is effectively my “local” bookshop. Sadly, not an independent but you can’t have everything!
